Sidney Schuster

Sidney Schuster, born on November 13, 1954, passed away on August 11, 2026.

Sidney was cherished for his unwavering commitment to home and the simple joys that could be found within its walls. Those closest to him fondly recall that his happiest moments were spent in familiar surroundings, where he discovered contentment in tasks that might seem small to others but were beloved rituals to him. Putzing with cars was Sidney’s favorite pastime—a passion that reflected his meticulous nature and his love for both creation and restoration. Many who had the privilege to know Sidney will remember his catchphrase, “not in the budget,” a gentle reminder of his practical approach to life.

Sid was survived by his siblings Marvin Schuster, Audrey Schuster, Judy Lewis, Tarry Schuster, Randy Schuster, Glen Schuster and their families.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Sid's shop (27519 Furman St, North Branch) August 29th, 2026 from Noon to 5. Lunch and drinks will be provided.

His absence will be keenly felt, but his memory will continue to inspire a devotion to the simple comforts of home, hands-on craftsmanship, and the satisfaction of a well-lived, honest life.
