Sara Elizabeth Thompson

Sara Elizabeth Thompson, born October 11, 1994, passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 31.

She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, charismatic spirit, and her deep desire to serve as a source of healing and hope for others.

Sara brought light and fun into the lives of many. She had a love for animals, enjoyed reading mysteries, thrillers, and self-help books, and hoped to someday work with the elderly and children. A thoughtful soul, she chronicled her life through journaling, leaving behind introspective and meaningful reflections that will continue to enlighten and inspire those who loved her.

Above all, Sara cherished her bond with her beloved 9-year-old son, Mason. Her happiest moments were spent sharing meaningful time and connection with him.

Sara’s mesmerizing blue eyes, radiant smile, and playful sense of humor reflected a vibrant spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Though her time was far too short, her legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will live on forever in the hearts of those she touched.

Sara is survived by her son, Mason Molina, Sara’s parents, Sally (Kurtz) Thompson and James B. Thompson of Highland Park, IL; sisters Joy Thompson of Summer Key, FL, and Melissa (Thompson) Rosella of Phoenix, AZ.
