Pamela Lynn Langlitz peacefully passed away on 11/30/25, after a brief and valiant battle with cancer. Pamela was born on 3/29/66, to Beverly and Theodore Barabas. She was raised in Arlington Heights, IL and graduated from John Hersey High School in 1983. Pamela attended one year at Carthage College, where she made lifelong friends.  Pamela then moved to Wisconsin and was married. Her daughter, Krystal Rose, was born, in Port Washington, WI, in 1991. Pamela later returned to college and proudly earned her associates degree in nursing. Pamela was extremely independent and worked throughout her adult years. Her career included several positions within the United States Postal Service and working as a registered nurse for the Veterans Administration in Tomah, WI, Independence, MO. and Leavenworth, KS. Pamela was most proud of the time she spent helping and giving back to our nation's veterans. Pam was also employed as a psychiatric nurse and recently retired as a triage nurse for Endeavor Health.

Pamela is survived by her mother and stepfather, Beverly and Robert Parrott, her daughter and son-in-law, Krystal and Dustin Cole, and granddaughters Brooke, Destany and Christine. Pam was also loved and will be missed by many friends. She was preceded in death by her father.

As we remember Pamela, we celebrate the memories and moments shared. Her legacy is one of love, friendship, and a deep commitment to helping others. Her family and friends would like to thank the staff at Endeavor Health Elmhurst Hospital, Residential Hospice and The Pearl of Hinsdale for the care and dedication you provided to Pam, her family and friends, throughout her transition. Pamela's family would appreciate donations made to the American Cancer Society.
