Nathan Guck, born on May 26, 1990, passed away on April 26, 2026. His life was marked by a profound kindness and a genuine desire to help others, qualities that endeared him to many and left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him. Nathan’s happiest moments were spent immersed in the natural world, a reflection of his deep appreciation for its beauty and tranquility.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of shed hunting and rock hunting, activities that connected him to the earth and filled his days with purpose and contentment. These pursuits were more than hobbies; they were a testament to his patient and persistent spirit, as well as his love for exploring and discovering the hidden treasures of nature.
Nathan’s legacy is defined by his selflessness and the gentle strength with which he navigated life. His kindness was a beacon of comfort and support, always placing the needs of others before his own. In a world often rushed and indifferent, Nathan’s compassionate heart was a sanctuary for those around him.
Though his time with us was far too brief, the memory of Nathan Guck will endure. He leaves behind a quiet but powerful example of living with empathy and embracing the natural world with an open heart. His presence in the lives he touched remains an enduring gift, a reminder of the goodness that exists in true kindness.
Nathan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathy Liddle; his grandfather, Ronald Guck; and his stepmother, Shelly Guck.
He is survived by his daughter Alexis (Marcus) Dorner; his parents, Bruce Guck and Lisa Lopez; and his stepfather, Daniel Lopez. He is also survived by his grandparents, Duane and Maureen Liddle, and Deian Guck.
Nathan is further survived by his siblings and their significant others: Brandan (Aleisha) Guck, Alycia (Travis) Oswald, Brianna (Brandon) Lopez, Drake (Lauren) Guck, Brandon (Desiree) Otto, Ryan (Kathy) Otto, Danica (Mikey) Swanson, James Sherrill, and Daniel Leland. He also leaves behind many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Nathan’s passing is mourned with deepest respect and sorrow, and he will be remembered for the light he brought into the lives of many and the peaceful places in nature where he found his happiest days.
