Mark Andrew Sack, 57, passed away on September 27, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. He was born on April 18, 1969, to Margaret(Bob) Bach and Gary C. Sack.

Mark was a hardworking man who spent his entire life in the construction trade.

Mark had a love for classic cars and enjoyed building model cars. He also loved sitting at the camper with his dogs. Most of all, Mark enjoyed being with his family—sitting around watching multiple movies at once on the boob tube and bullshittin’ and telling stories about anything. He always had a sarcastic comment

about everything & a sense of humor that occationally made people question their life choices. Those are the moments his family will hold onto the most.

Mark is survived by his wife, Jody Sack; his children, Amanda (Chris) Vietmeyer, Nathan (Britney) Arnold, Bethany (Josh), and Kyle (Lexi) Sack; his grandchildren, Jayden, Hunter, and Brantley; and his step-grandchildren, Aleigha and Brayden.

He is also survived by his siblings, Kevin Arnold, Kenny Arnold, Mike Sack, Melvin Sack, Matt Sack, and Myra Behrens.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret & Bob Bach and Gary Sack, and his sister, Paulette Crafton.

Celebration of Life

A Celebration of Mark’s Life will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Chadwick Lions Club,223 Calvert Ave., Chadwick, IL.

Family and friends are invited to come together to remember Mark, share stories, laugh, and celebrate the life he lived.
