Laura Jean Brennan

Laura Jean Brennan, born on May 8, 1950, passed away on April 7, 2026. She was a cherished member of her family and a beloved presence in the lives of all who knew her.

Laura was best known for her unwavering support of her family, her infectious humor, and her radiant smile that could brighten any room. Her happy place was always at home, surrounded by the people she loved most. She found great joy in spending time with her family, engaging in spirited card games such as Bingo and cribbage, and snuggling with her cherished pets. Music was a constant companion in her life, providing comfort and pleasure through the years.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Brennan; her cherished children, Donna Thorne, Scott Thorne, Sherry Thorne (and her husband Jeff Pedersen), and Kerry Zoellner; and her siblings, June Brewer, Don Eberhard, and Debra Socha. Laura’s legacy continues through her grandchildren Jordan Thorne, Angel Zoellner, Katie Merges (and her husband Brett Merges), Davie Zoellner, Brianna Ward, and Anna Ibarra (and her husband Andre Ibarra). Her love also embraced her great-grandchildren Nicholas Merges, Andrew Merges, and Lukas Lois.

Laura was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Elva Holmes and Harry Holmes, and Frank Sherman; her paternal grandparents Daisy Eberhard and William Esline Eberhard; her mother, Donna Eberhard; her father, Leroy; and her siblings, Donna Marie Eberhard and Bob Eberhard.

Her life was marked by kindness, laughter, and a deep commitment to those she held dear. Laura Jean Brennan will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her, her memory living on in the hearts of her family and friends.
