Daniel Peter Drontle

Age 50, of St. Paul, died May 12th, 2026. Preceded in death by parents Clarence and Lenore Drontle. Survived by wife Siri, daughter Anastasia, brothers and sisters Lois, John, Jim, Donna, and Dave (Joann), nieces and nephews Amanda (Ken), Jasmine, Brandi, Jonas, Abby, Isabella, Tony, and great-nephew Leo, as well as aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

The youngest child by ten years, Dan had 5 older siblings and grew up on his parents’ farm near Watkins, MN. He attended UMD, U of MN, and Creighton University and had been a pharmacist since 2012. Dan’s interests included cooking, hosting events, bicycling, walking, reading and podcasts, anime, and strategy board games. He was a fun-loving and bright man, known for his hospitality, humor, and generosity.

Visitation: May 27, 4-8pm and May 28, 9-11am at Messiah Episcopal Church, 1631 Ford Pkwy, St Paul, MN. Funeral: May 28, 11am at Messiah Episcopal Church, St Paul, MN. Funeral will be live-streamed. Interment: July 2, following 8AM Mass at Seven Dolors in Albany. Burial following at St. Benedict’s Parish Cemetery, Avon, MN. Memorial Preference: Donations to Anastasia Drontle’s college fund OR ECMN Migrant Support fund OR Messiah Episcopal Church Music Ministry.
