Adam Janusz Czernicki, born on December 24, 1958, left this world peacefully on July 20, 2025. He was a devoted gardener, whose zest for life and nature was truly unparalleled. Known for his enormous vegetable and flower garden, Adam reveled in the simple joys nurturing plants from seeds beginning each yearly cycle January. His love gardening was not merely a hobby; it was his sanctuary, a space where he found happiness and fulfillment.
Beyond his gardening, Adam was the go-to person for all things home renovation. His curious nature and breadth of knowledge about numerous topics made him a wellspring of information for friends and family alike. He possessed an undeniable ability to brighten the lives of those around him with lighthearted spirit and wealth of random facts.
Adam's happy places were undoubtedly his garden and his garage, where he could immerse himself in creative projects and the art of DIY. He brought passion and dedication to everything he undertook, and this passion extended to the connections he formed with those around him.
As we gather to remember Adam, we celebrate a life well-lived and a legacy that will continue through the memories held dear by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Friends and family are invited to honor his memory during a visitation at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, located at 201 Buckbee St, Rockford, IL 61104, on July 29, 2025. The visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and will follow with an 11:00 AM Funeral Mass.
Adam Janusz Czernicki will be deeply missed, but his spirit will undoubtedly live on through the love of gardening he instilled in others and the joyful memories shared by those who knew him.
